How a facelift is performed at our Toronto practice ...
To begin your facelift, Dr. David Naiberg will make incisions in the hairline around the ear. The skin and underlying muscles and tissues are then tightened and the excess fat is sculpted away, leaving your face and neck smoother, younger looking, and fresher. Bruising is usually quite mild. The incisions around the natural skin creases are barely noticeable when the healing is complete.

What to expect after facelift surgery...
After your facelift at Ontario’s premier plastic surgery practice, you can usually go home the same day with a bandage in place. Discomfort is usually mild and short-lived, and can be relieved with simple analgesics. Dressings are commonly removed within a day or two. Many patients report a sense of tightness or numbness in their face and neck following the surgery. The intensity and duration of these symptoms varies with the individual. Camouflage make-up is permitted to help you get out in the public faster and stitches are removed in about 10 days.
You're usually able to resume your normal routine after about 10 days.
