What it is ...

Sagging forehead skin can cause heavy looking droopy eyebrows, horizontal and vertical wrinkles of the forehead, and can make you look tired and weary, or even angry - an early sign of aging. These wrinkles, frown lines, and droopiness can be corrected with a forehead or eyebrow lift. In these procedures the forehead and eyebrows are elevated to their normal position, helping them achieve a more rested, youthful look.

How it's done ...

Incisions are either totally hidden in the hairline (the forehead lift), or made in natural skin creases, which make the scars hardly visible (the browlift). The forehead skin is gently pulled upward and the excess skin is removed.

What to expect after surgery ...

Pain is very mild and temporary and is relieved with medication. Bandages are removed one or two days following surgery and sutures come out in approximately 10 days. Most patients can resume their normal routine within a week after surgery.
